Who Will Be Working With My Child?

Published June 7, 2026.

By Texas Care Stop 6

When you invite someone into your home to work with your kid, that’s not a small thing.

You’re trusting them with your family. Your privacy. Your time. And the people who matter most to you.

Most clinics don’t tell you much about who that person actually is. We think you should know before anyone walks through your door.

Start with who picks up the phone.

When you call us, you’re talking to Khadijah. She’s the owner. She built this clinic because she saw what was missing for families in Stop 6.

You’re not calling a corporate office. You’re talking to someone who lives and works in this community.

We don’t put just anyone in front of your child.

Every clinician we bring on gets a background check before they meet a single family. That’s not optional. That’s the floor.

We check credentials too. Texas has specific requirements for this kind of work. We follow them. Not because we have to. Because your child deserves someone who’s actually prepared.

New clinicians don’t work alone.

When someone joins our team, they work under direct oversight while they learn how we do things. Our standards. What it means to serve families in this part of Fort Worth.

That’s not a formality. That’s how we make sure the person coming to your home is ready.

We keep caseloads small on purpose.

A clinician stretched too thin can’t do this work well. Your child isn’t going to be an afterthought on a long list.

Why we’re telling you this.

Families in Stop 6 have dealt with systems that sent unprepared people into their homes before. We know that. We’re not that.

If you want to know more about who works here, call and ask.
